Jeff De Rosa, Mt. Washington Observatory Hurricane force winds constantly driving frigid alpine air into your body, help make living and working on top of Mount Washington a terrific challenge. This past winter, the challenge diminished when I discovered a powerful weapon created to fight the elements: The Latitude-15 base layer. Added protection against such harsh elements was a well-received attribute, though the true benefit of this product was Latitude-15' unique anti fouling feature. With a minimalist approach, an often-impassible road and wintertime water restrictions in place, showers and clean laundry became distant memories during long stints on top of The Rockpile. Not only did I carry out daily chores in my Latitude-15, I also chose to sleep in this comfortable base layer as well. In fact, I once wore my Latitude-15 for forty consecutive days and nights, resulting in no odor. Whether spending a month on Mount Washingtons summit, hiking in the backcountry, kayaking and sailing on the Maine Coast, or for future travels to the worlds cold climates, my luggage has gotten a lot lighter thanks to Latitude-15! I am happy to report that the wonderful Latitude-15 top performed incredibly well during many chilly morning runs in the frigid New York winter of 2005. It is simply terrific it kept me warm and dry throughout the season. Even when it was in the low 20s, I would run in the top with just a windbreaker shell and it kept me very warm. And it has remained odor-free, despite the fact that I still havent washed it! So it is a fantastic product! Jeff Stolzer, marathon runner & outdoor enthusiast |

Ive just returned from Bhutan where a group of us completed the Snowman Trek, a 24-day affair widely considered the most difficult of Himalayan treks. I started wearing the original alpaca shirt (without X-static), but after we were caught in a snowstorm on October 14th I removed it to dry it and put on the new Latitude-15 (XP33) shirt. I didnt remove it until November 4th, the last day of the trek, whenwe reached the town of Punhaka and hotel rooms with showers. I wore it at night in my sleeping bag with a down vest over it and during the day with varying outer layers over it. We ranged in altitude from 10,000 to over 17,000 feet and temperatures were mainly in the 0ºF to the mid 40s F. Anyway, here it is still unwashed since the 21 days I wore it. It is an extremely comfortable and serviceable garment. Jason Bacon, New Haven, VT |

Well, it kept me cozy all day today -I put on the Latitude-15 under my workshirt and vest. Good combination. The day warmed up so took off the workshirt for the picture. Doug Hardy, Woolwich, ME |

The styling, fit and comfort are excellent. Banded wrists are comfortable to pull up while running - also the deep zipper with a large pull is so important when wearing gloves. The main thing I noticed was that when I returned to the office and sat down at my desk the Latitude-15 seemed to dry even faster than my former preferred base layer. John Simminger - Charlotte, VT |

We received your package yesterday and we want to thank you very much. Actually I am wearing the pullover right now and it feels fantastic. I have been wearing the Latitude-15 quite a bit now. At the moment when the hotel is not heated we go through changes of warm and cool all day long and the Latitude-15 does a lot to keep me comfortable in these conditions. Gebhard Jochum |

I've worn the alpaca shirt 3 times on my jogs about the neighborhood. It's sublimely comfortable and warm with another layer and a shell even at 10 degrees F. I can't wait to take it to Bhutan. Many Thanks Jason Bacon |
